I try to go every week because it just makes me so happy. When I have to get on a train and come back to Connecticut, it’s like having to say goodbye to my best friend. Except this bestie holds the key to all my hopes, dreams, future friends, and future lovers.

Don’t make me leave.

I’m not quite sure where Newtown is in relation to where I am in the state, but regardless I am appalled by the actions today. My heart goes out to all those involved.

More and more it seems, innocent lives are being taken by the hands of those who once suffered severe trauma and now only know how to take it out on others and repeat the cycle.

I am by NO MEANS defending the shooter, but rather am trying to relay a message that, if you see someone struggling mentally GET THEM HELP ASAP. I don’t care if they refuse, you can get court orders.

People who don’t get the treatment and help they need today grow up to be the deadly monsters we see on the news today.
